2. Hosting and website delivery
This static website is delivered through Cloudflare Pages. When you open a page, technical request data such as your IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, time of access and referrer may be processed to deliver and protect the website. This processing is necessary to provide a secure and reliable service and is based on our legitimate interest in operating the campaign website.

3. Browser storage used by this site
The campaign website uses limited browser storage for:
- remembering whether you allowed or declined optional measurement;
- keeping campaign attribution during the current browser session; and
- assigning a random visit identifier during that session.
The consent choice remains on your device until you change it through “Privacy settings” in a campaign-page footer or clear your browser data. Session information normally ends when the browser session ends.
4. Optional campaign measurement
We use Google Consent Mode for Google Ads measurement. Advertising storage, analytics storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation are set to denied by default. If you decline, Google does not read or write advertising or analytics cookies for this site. Google may still receive consent signals and cookieless measurement pings that can include technical information such as the page URL, timestamp, user agent, referrer and coarse advertising-click information.
If you allow measurement, Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure page activity and whether an advertising click leads to a WhatsApp enquiry. The legal basis for optional measurement is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time through the “Privacy settings” link in a campaign-page footer.

5. First-party campaign statistics
Only after you allow measurement, the campaign website sends limited events to Ocean Sun's own marketing system. These events show that a page was opened, how far it was read, whether an enquiry form was started or submitted and whether a WhatsApp button was selected. The payload contains the campaign code, page name, a random session visit identifier and limited campaign-source fields. It does not contain the content of a WhatsApp message, your name, email address or telephone number.
These statistics are used to understand campaign performance and are retained only for as long as needed for campaign analysis, security and applicable legal obligations.
6. Enquiry form, WhatsApp, email and Google Maps
Enquiry form
If you send the enquiry form, Ocean Sun processes your name, email address, preferred dates, guest or diver details, optional message and campaign attribution in order to answer your request and take steps toward a possible booking. The form does not confirm availability or create a booking automatically.
A minimal enquiry record is stored in Cloudflare D1 so that a delivery problem cannot make the request disappear. Postmark delivers the notification to Ocean Sun and the receipt to you. Cloudflare Turnstile may be used to protect the form against automated abuse.
WhatsApp is opened only when you select a WhatsApp link. A suggested enquiry may be prepared, but nothing is sent until you choose to send it. From that point, WhatsApp processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. Ocean Sun processes the details you send in order to answer your enquiry and prepare or perform a booking.

Selecting an email link opens your own email application. If you contact us, we process the information you provide to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to take steps toward or perform a booking.
Google Maps
The footer contains a normal link to the Ocean Sun location on Google Maps; no map is embedded on the campaign website. Data is transferred to Google Maps only if you follow that link.
7. Service providers and international transfers
Cloudflare, Postmark, Google and WhatsApp may process information in countries outside your place of residence. Their respective privacy notices explain their processing locations, safeguards and choices. We disclose information only where necessary to operate the website, measure campaigns with the selected consent setting, respond to enquiries or meet legal obligations.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal data, to object to certain processing and to withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You may also have the right to contact the data-protection authority responsible for your place of residence.
