How it runs
START IN THE POOL. FINISH AT THE LIBERTY.
Your course starts between 9:00 and 11:00 AM on day one and usually finishes around 1:00 PM on day three.

Day 1 · start 9:00–11:00 AM
Take your first breath underwater
Meet your equipment, learn how everything works and complete your basic pool training. Afterwards, you make your first open-water dive with your instructor.

Day 2 · morning pool session
Build skills and confidence
Continue with advanced pool training in the morning. Then take what you have learned into the sea for your second Open Water dive.

Day 3 · finish around 1:00 PM
Dive the Liberty Wreck
Complete open-water dives three and four, including a dive at the famous USAT Liberty Wreck. After successful completion, your SSI certification is issued digitally.

Is this course suitable if I have never dived before?
Yes. The SSI Open Water Diver course is designed for complete beginners. You learn the theory, equipment and safety skills from the beginning before completing four open-water dives.
What happens during the three course days?
Day one combines the equipment introduction, basic pool training and your first sea dive. Day two adds advanced pool skills and sea dive two. On day three, you complete dives three and four, including the Liberty Wreck, and usually finish around 1:00 PM.
Is the USAT Liberty Wreck included?
Yes. The USAT Liberty Wreck is included as one of the two open-water dives on the final course day.
What is included in the IDR 7,290,000 per-person price?
Each course participant receives the three-day SSI Open Water course, all course equipment, one bungalow for two nights, breakfast and lunch during the course. The price stays IDR 7,290,000 per person whether the bungalow is occupied by one, two or three guests.
Are there age or swimming requirements?
Ocean Sun’s current course information lists a minimum age of 10, and students need to be comfortable swimming. A medical questionnaire is completed before training, and some conditions may require medical clearance.

Yes. Mention your pickup location in the form or on WhatsApp. Transfer, dinner and additional nights cost extra and are confirmed in our personal reply.
